NO LIPPY made it three wins from five for Mark Johnston in the Lily Agnes Conditions Stakes on the opening day at Chester
In what is usually the best two-year-old race of the season so far, No Lippy broke smartly and was never headed to take his unbeaten record to two, although he was hassled by the David Evans-trained Lihou throughout.
The latter went down valiantly in second, well clear of the remainder.

Where did the favourite finish?
Mark Johnston's favourite No Lippy had a good draw and made use of it, essentially leading from start to finish, although favourite backers would have been given a scare by the runner-up.
