TWO BLONDES is the latest off the Mick Channon juvenile production line and he shaped with promise when fifth on his debut at Ascot earlier this month.
He was midfield for most of the race and just let the leaders get away from him.
With the yard’s two-year-olds going so well he can improve on that effort.
LILY’S PRINCE has been knocking on the door in Ireland and was a close-up third at Cork last time out.
That was over this trip on slower ground and this faster surface should suit.
He is off the same mark as that last decent run and this looks a weak contest.

GAELIC WIZARD showed some positive signs when third off this mark at Hamilton last time out.
He can sometimes miss the break and this 6f distance gives him more of a chance to get into it than the minimum did latest.

ROYAL REGENT looked very rusty when down the field on his comeback at Musselburgh last time but he had been off for more than seven months.
He likes this trip and track and, taking his rider’s claim into account, has dropped back to close to his last winning mark. The ground suits and he should be a lot fitter today.
4.05
POWERALLIED ran a cracker on his comeback at Chester last time out, finishing strongly in second place.
He has gone up just 2lb for that effort and should be capable of improving on it with that run under his belt.
4.35
TITI MAKFI committed the cardinal sin of missing the break at Chester latest and couldn’t get into the race, so ignore that run.
She had earlier gone very close when second in a Goodwood Listed contest on ground that was probably a bit soft for her liking.
She has tasted success in arguably better races than this and won’t be far away.

THORNTOUN CARE is coming back from a wind operation and it wouldn’t need to have much effect to see him winning this. His form was already decent with a run of wins and places last season.
He has scored here before and still looks on a fair enough mark. This trip suits and he won the last time he had fast ground.

KIWI BAY won this race 12 months ago and is 9lb lower in the weights now. He didn’t run like a 13-year-old when a solid fourth at Ayr last time for this jockey and he won’t mind the ground.
He has a solid each-way shout.
