Derby favourite Saxon Warrior in good form ahead of Epsom run reveals Aidan O’Brien
Saxon Warrior is on track for a crack at the Triple Crown after his 2000 Guineas win
AIDAN O'BRIEN says it is "so far, so good" with Saxon Warrior as he steps up his preparation for the Investec Derby.
O'Brien's colt is on track for a Triple Crown bid following his 2000 Guineas win, and is reported to be in good form at home.
Speaking at the Breakfast with the Stars event at Epsom on Tuesday morning, O'Brien said: "We are happy with Saxon Warrior and it's so far, so good with all the possibles.
"We always thought he was a very high-quality colt and he's done everything right so far.
"He's a very strong blend of Danehill, Galileo and Deep Impact. We haven't had anything like him before. He's exciting. "
O'Brien also has plenty of others in with a shout of an Epsom run, and plans are likely to be firmed up towards the end of the week.
Last year the Ballydoyle handler saddled six horses and landed the prize with 40-1 outsider Wings Of Eagles.
Lingfield Derby Trial runner-up Kew Gardens, Derrinstown Derby Trial placed horses Delano Roosevelt and The Pentagon are all in with a chance of running.

O'Brien added: "It depends upon what the lads (owners Coolmore) want to do, really, but obviously all those horses are born, bred and raised to be Derby horses.
"Obviously if they're in good shape and they're well, the lads like to give them their chance, like they did last year.
"I'm not sure what they're really thinking at the moment
"The lads haven't got together and spoke about what they want to do. I think that will happen towards the end of the week."
