Oaks favourite Lah Ti Dar ruled out of the Group 1 contest at Epsom next week
OAKS favourite Lah Ti Dar has been ruled out of the Investec Oaks next week.
John Gosden revealed the filly will miss the race after an unsatisfactory blood test.
The filly was set to go into the race unbeaten, having landed the Pretty Polly Stakes in good style on her last start.
However, she missed this week's Breakfast With The Stars and Gosden has ruled her completely out of a trip to Epsom.
He said: "It was a routine blood sample, but it was not to our satisfaction.
"Therefore she will not be able to work this weekend in preparation for the Oaks, so in view of that she will not be running at Epsom."
DERBY DAY When is the Derby at Epsom, can I still get tickets and who is running?
Despite missing Epsom, Lah Ti Dar is set to run at Royal Ascot instead.
Gosden said: "I'll have to let that come right and hopefully it will be the Ribblesdale at Ascot now.
"It's incredible bad luck for the owners it being the Oaks again. The mother (Dar Re Mi), her sister (So Mi Dar) and now another one, but that is the way it goes.
"They are fantastic owner-breeders and fully understand the need to do what is right for the filly."
Charlie Appleby's Wild Illusion is now the 4-1 favourite for the Oaks.
