ITV racing tips: Newcastle – Matt Chapman’s top betting preview for Friday’s TV racing
Get all the info to bash the bookies as ITV's Matt Chapman runs you through Friday's racing live on ITV4
ITV show four races at Newcastle on Friday night, so let's see if we can get some decent Friday night action!
There's plenty of good action and the Group 3 Stobart Energy Hoppings Fillies' Stakes (8.05) looks a cracking race.
The first race broadcast is the 6.20pm, a handicap over 6f.
I will take a complete chance with EASTERN RACER, who has been terrible in recent efforts for Brian Ellison.
However, those were over 7f and 5f and this 6f is ideal of a very good mark of 70.
Off a career-low mark I'm hoping he can run a big race at a big price.

The 6.55pm is a handicap over 1m. I'll try with TWO FOR TWO here for Roger Fell. He ran well at Ripon last time and is 6lb lower in the ratings on this surface.
He's down in class here and the Ripon run was certainly a step back in the right direction for the ten-year-old.
He won off 10lbs higher only a year ago and must be in with a shout.
Matt Chapman's TV Tips
6.20 Newcastle - Eastern Racer: 'taking a swing, new mark must give him a chance at big price'
6.55 Newcastle - Two For Two: 'back on track after encouraging run at Ripon'
7.30 Newcastle - Atletico: 'smart horse and should enjoy being back on the tapeta surface'
8.05 Newcastle - Smart Call: 'miles clear on ratings and should take this for in-form yard'
The 7.30pm is a sprint handicap over 5f. The one to have a few quid on eachway here is ATLETICO, who runs all-weather surfaces really well and who will appreciate going back on this tapeta having been on grass last time.
He's also dropped a few pounds in the handicap ranks.
Finally, the feature is the Group 3 Hoppings Fillies' Stakes over 1m2f at 8.05pm.
There's no doubt that on ratings that red-hot Sir Michael Stoute should have the winner with SMART CALL, who is miles better than these at the moment.
Four White Socks is worth a second look.
So best of luck and hope for Yeeehaaas. You Betcha!
