MAKE ON MADAM has been in cracking form at Beverley, winning there in May and following up with two more good efforts.

She is just 3lb higher in the weights for this and champion jockey Silvestre De Sousa has a good record when riding for Les Eyre.

HESSLEWOOD won a better race than this at York last month when he was in charge from a long way out and kept pulling out more.

That was over this distance and he should be good enough to defy his 6lb penalty today.

LEOUBE is interesting stepping into nursery handicaps from a pretty low mark for Richard Hannon and Silvestre De Sousa.

She wasn’t beaten far at Brighton last time and she has enough pace to figure over this trip.

PABLO ESCOBARR was unlucky not to win on debut over course and distance last time, coming with a strong run and just going down in a bobbing finish.

He was backed that day and knew his job but there should still be plenty of improvement to come. Fast ground suits and he should be right there.

GOLDEN GUEST was a few steps ahead of similar rivals when winning at Doncaster last time and should be able to cope with a 6lb penalty today.

He is dropping back a furlong here but that shouldn’t be an issue as he’s won at the trip before.

EEH BAH GUM has kept improving with every win and even a 9lb hike in the weights may not stop him making it five victories on the bounce.

He relishes this trip and fast ground and his Redcar success last time was in a similar grade.

DAPPER MAN got the better of Musharrif at Nottingham last time by a fair margin and he can confirm that with another success.

Roger Fell’s four-year-old has a 6lb penalty for that success which still leaves him on a handy mark.
