Best horse racing tips for Friday: Sunracing’s top picks for today’s racing at Sandown, Doncaster, Newton Abbot, Chelmsford, Beverley and Haydock

Don't miss out on Sunracing's best bet and each-way shot at all six meetings today

FRIDAY'S action steps up a notch with a busy afternoon and evening of summer racing.

Sandown hosts the best quality, but cards from Doncaster and Chelmsford amongst others offer up plenty of opportunities.

1

Sandown

Best bet

4.05 - Alfarris: Lightly-raced four-year-old that should have more up his sleeve. Picked up nicely on comeback run and 6lb rise for that win could be generous.

Each way

3.30 - Morando: Slightly patchy profile but his run behind Crystal Ocean over course and distance is eye catching. No show at Ascot, but is definitely better than that.

Doncaster

Best bet

3.10 Classic Seniority: Won this last year and weighted to win again. Last two efforts encouraging enough and looks primed to go well here.

Each way

1.30 - Seprani: Looks overpriced. Minimum trip a slight concern as she doesn't shape like a speedy type. But yard flying and good claimer takes off another 5lbs.

Newton Abbot

Best bet

4.30 - Fifty Shades: Winner last time out and am certain he's better than current mark. Trainer has his string going great guns.

Each way

3.20 - Ice Konig: Getting on a bit but appears on a a decent enough mark on some bits of form. Horse tends to save his best for yard's local track too.

DO OR DI Saturday tips: Di Fede can dominate in the Coral Distaff at Sandown

Chelmsford

Best bet

9.15 - Trouble And Strife: Sir Mark Presscott's three-year-old should be taking this off a lowly 58. Decent run last time behind a 72 rated winner.

7.30 - Surfa Rosa: Top of the market is dominated by a few of the big yards, but if you put a line through Surfa Rosa's last effort he looks completely the wrong price.

Beverley

Best bet

6.35 - Que Amoro: Improved on her second start to finish third behind subsequent Group winner. Similar run here should see her scoop the lot.

Each way

8.20 - Claramara: Mark Johnston's horse has shown little form to swoon over but enough promise to suggest he can step up and take this at Beverley.

Haydock

Best bet

9.05 - Mountain Peak: Weak field to finish the card and this filly comes into it in flying form. Cosy winner last time out and 6lbs rise unlikely to stop her.

Each way

6.45 - Crimean Queen: Two midfield runs behind smart sorts. A small bit of improvement can see her get in the mix in an open race.
