She was far from disgraced there in finishing midfield after winning at Lingfield and going close at Newmarket. She has a fair weight for this handicap debut and looks hard to beat.

ZUMURUD shaped well on his handicap debut at Hamilton last time, finishing third because a couple of decent prospects.
It’s interesting to see him dropping in trip and class here off the same mark, which must give him every chance.

PROMISING RUN is a proven Group 2 performer in Dubai so should be capable of striking in this Listed company.
She is taking a good drop in class after a solid sixth in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot last time. She went off a bit too quick there and paid the price. This is an easier assignment.

HIGHLY SPRUNG has every chance of landing a hat-trick of course and distance wins carrying a 6lb penalty.
He had more than three lengths in hand crossing the line eight days ago and is in the form of his life.

HERCULEAN won well at Ascot on his debut and should really have followed up at Newmarket last time where he had to settle for second after not getting the clearest of runs.
He makes a wise step up in distance here and should be a couple of steps ahead of main rival Recordman.

MEARING ran a lot better than fifth place suggests at Beverley last time as he wasn’t far off the front crossing the line. He finished well there from a long way back and has been dropped 1lb by the handicapper, which can only help.

MILITARY MADAME came back from a break to finish a good third at Beverley last time out. She has had a bit of help from the assessor and there’s every chance she could step up on that effort over a distance that clearly suits.
