Don't miss out on Sunracing's best bet and each-way shot at both today's meetings
IT'S the second day of the July meeting at Newmarket, and the turn of the fillies in the Falmouth.
There's also plenty of action around the rest of the country, and we've come up with our best bets on each card.
Newmarket
Best bet
2.25 La Pelosa - Produced a brilliant performance on just her second to start to run Main Edition (who re-opposes) close in the Albany at Royal Ascot. Should improve and can reverse the form.
Each way
3.00 Communique - Mark Johnston has a good record in this race and his three-year-old can bounce back like so many from the yard. On the form of his win at Newbury in May he has a very good chance.
York
Best bet
2.40 Manjaam - Given far too much to do at Royal Ascot when coming from the rear but should be different proposition in this smaller field. Likely to keep progressing.
Each way
3.15 Main Desire - Had a very tough task in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot but now back against her own sex she can continue to improve. She's two from two at the Knavesmire which is a good omen.

Ascot
Best bet
2.50 I Am A Dreamer - Already had six runs this season and notched up two wins. Second on handicap debut last time was promising and up 3lb he can be too good for his rivals.
Each way
3.25 Golden Birthday - Since winning five on the trot last season he's struggled but looked on the way back last time. Can take this handicap of an ever-reducing mark.
Chepstow
Best bet
7.45 Gold Hunter - Loves the track and looks handicapped to have a big say as he's 3lb lower than when second in the race last year. Good claimer Jane Elliott takes off an extra 3lb.
Each way
7.15 Quantum Dot - Seems to find it difficult to put two good runs together but loves this track and can burn them off from the front.
A CAREER CUT SHORT Superstar chaser Finian's Oscar dies aged six
Chester
Best bet
6.55 Rainbow Rebel - Mark Johnston's five-year-old is going from strength to strength and won the Old Newton Cup on Saturday. Has to carry a penalty but could get easy lead and prove too good.
Each way
7.55 Intransigent - Former course winner is dropping down the weights but showed a bit more last time in blinkers and can take advantage of his reduced mark.
Ffos Las
Best bet
6.00 Cafe Au Lait - The Skelton team is in flying form at the moment and this can one can win for the second time this season. He carries a lot of headgear but has too much talent for this small field.
Each way
8.05 Hidden Cargo - Has been out of form of late but is down to a mark from which he should be more than capable and gets first-time cheekpieces. He's trained by one of the best and hasn't shown his full ability yet.
