Best horse racing tips for Tuesday: Sunracing’s top picks for today’s racing at Beverley, Bath, Thirsk, Worcester and Chelmsford

THERE'S a total of five meetings on British soil this Tuesday, four on the flat and one for the jumpers.

Despite the continued lack of rain, on the whole, field sizes have survived reasonably well and offers a few interesting openings.

Beverley

Best bet

2.00 Diamonique - Made an encouraging debut at Pontefract at a big price, suggesting it wasn't expected. But the race has worked out well and from her rivals with experience it's a clear standout.

4.00 Make On Madam - Easy excuse for her last run, but she can bounce back here at a nice price. She'd been going well until Haydock and still looks weighted to grab another win at this level.

Best bet

2.40 Elieden - Makes her handicap debut and form of her last effort suggests she's been let off generously by the handicapper. An open race, but confident she can take it to the tentative market leaders.

3.10 Toolatetodelegate - Not one race with enough runners to pay three places but Brian Barr's filly is a track specialist and can find her feet again at her favourite track.

Chelmsford

Best bet

3.20 Quiet Endeavour - Won over course and distance on his third start in good fashion. That was cosy and suggests he can double up, even under a penalty.

3.50 Pretty Bubbles - Bounced back at Windsor with narrow second. Back at another track she thrives at and must still be well-handicapped judged on Windsor effort when well backed.

Thirsk

Best bet

6.40 Kraka - Drops considerably in class and should take this if running up to par. Handicapper has given him best chance to date and wears first time cheekpieces.

7.10 Vision Clear - Lightly-raced but clearly didn't stay last time. More to come and back down in trip must be a danger at this level.

Worcester

Best bet

6.20 Jacks Last Hope - Should be a cut above his three rivals and Brian Hughes takes the ride. Second to a good rival last month and a repeat of that should be enough here.

6.50 Beneagles - Never delivered on early season promise last year. Good ground seemed to make a difference at Ffos Las on return and he can go one better here at a nice price.
