WEDNESDAY TIPS

Best horse racing tips for Wednesday: Sunracing’s top picks for today’s racing at Catterick, Lingfield, Uttoxeter, Wolverhampton and Yarmouth

Don't miss out on Sunracing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Wednesday's meetings

IT'S another day of midweek fare, with five meetings on British soil offering up plenty of betting openings.

We've studied long and hard to offer up some of our most fancied selections for today's racing.

1

Catterick

Best bet

2.00 Deia Glory - Little Legs looks the only considerable threat, but I back Scott Dixon's filly to come out on top on a track that should really suit his filly. She also gets weight off her rival.

Each way

3.30 Rose Marmara - This quick 6f should suit and she's found her feet again in recent runs. Looks over priced judged on her win over course and distance in May.

Lingfield

Best bet

3.10 Frank Cool - Drops in class after a close second. Up 2lbs but in good form and this race shouldn't take much winning. Drawn well in stall four.

Each way

1.40 Jonnysimpson - Goes well at the track and really should be going close of this lowly mark, handicapper has given her a cracking chance.

Uttoxeter

Best bet

1.50 Scottsbrook Night - Keeps running well without winning but this looks the best opportunity to date. The yard are flying too and he races off a lovely, low weight.

Each way

4.20 Vinnie Red - Looks a wide-open race and despite being nine this horse is lightly raced and could prove better than current mark over fences.

Wolverhampton

Best bet

5.20 De Little Engine - Absolutely bolted up last time and doesn't look as if latest rise in the handicap will be enough to stop him go in again over course and distance.

Each way

8.35 King Kevin - Course and distance winner with decent form in better races. Has had a while off the track but should be in the mix if ready to go first time up.

CLASS-SEA OPERATOR Haggas hoping Sea Of Class can step up in Irish Oaks assignment

Yarmouth

Best bet

7.15 Victory Angel - Only six runners but a competitive heat. Was in good form prior to finding Royal Ascot all too much. Back in calmer waters and should take this at a course he's won at this season.

Each way

7.45 Wild Acclaim - A course specialist. Can blow hot and cold, but at the prices am happy to pray for a going day on the coast.
