Today’s horse racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets on Friday, July 20
Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Friday, July 20
THERE are six Flat fixtures on Friday - and without any Jumps action, it's a day for the purists.
With value to be had at Nottingham, Newbury and Haydock, here are some cracking longshots for you to have a punt on.
You'll won't be breaking hearts with Shamaheart (5.00 Nottingham).
The eight-year-old had to make up a lot of ground at Ripon last time out from a difficult position, but wasn't disgraced.
He eventually finished fifth but could easily have been placed at least if he'd been closer to the pace.
That performance came in a 0-70 and now dropped down to a 0-65, he could take all the beating with seven pound claimer Seamus Cronin taking yet more weight off his back.
The son of Shamardal was beaten just half a length on his last visit to the track, and with course figures of 212, he can go one place better this time.

5.00 Nottingham - Shamaheart: 'He was beaten just half a length on his last visit to the track, and with course figures of 212, he can go one place better this time'
5.10 Newbury - Sheila's Empire: 'She's bred to better than she's shown so far, and can put up an improved display now tackling her first handicap'
5.20 Haydock - Buckland Beau: 'It's a weaker race than he's been contesting of late and if he doesn't win now, he probably never will'
Sheila's Empire (5.10 Newbury) can wheel you a fortune.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor has had three starts in maiden company, finishing down the field in all of them.
However, her second start at Kempton was very promising, and had the race been over a half furlong shorter, she probably would have been second.
That performance suggests she's more than capable of winning off an opening mark of 62, and she now gets the services of jockey Pierre-Louis Jamin, one of the most experienced riders in the race.
She's bred to better than she's shown so far, and can put up an improved display now tackling her first handicap.
Earn a buck or two with Buckland Beau (5.20 Haydock).
This can finally be the son of Rock Of Gibraltar gets it right on turf.
Although sporting a better strike-rate on the all-weather, his official rating is actually the same in both codes.
What's more, he's performed well on grass off significantly higher marks than his current 66 and provided he can bounce back to the form of his penultimate start, he has every chance here.
It's a weaker race than he's been contesting of late and if he doesn't win now, he probably never will.
