THE Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup takes place this Saturday and it promises to be a thriller.

The meeting is one of the most unique fixtures in the global racing calendar and, combined with a post-racing concert, is one of the highlights of the year.

What is the Shergar Cup?

Four teams of some of the world's top jockeys compete for points to lift the trophy.

There are four teams and each team has three riders. They compete in six races trying to win the most points.
