Park Hill Stakes the plan for Glorious Goodwood winner Pilaster
The progressive three-year-old is unlikely to be supplemented for the St Leger and will instead keep to calmer waters at Doncaster
GAME Lillie Langtry winner Pilaster is likely to have her next start in the DFS Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster next month.
The improving filly completed a hat-trick at Glorious Goodwood and will bid to maintain her unbeaten season in the Group 2 contest.
Despite her rapid improvement, trainer Roger Varain has decided against supplementing their daughter of Nathaniel for the Group 1 St Leger, instead plumping for the Park Hill Stakes.
The Group 2, limited to fillies only, is undoubtedly the easier route, and connections believe this is the right option for her after only four career starts.
Chris Richardson, racing manager to owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "I don't think we will be supplementing her for the St Leger. We talked about it, but we took a view that the Park Hill makes sense, then we will see.
"She is a filly that will stay in training next year so we would prefer to bring her along gradually."

The lightly raced stayer showed a game attitude to take Lillie Langtry honours last month, and owners Cheveley Park Stud are honing in on Ascot's Champions Day as the season's ultimate aim.
Richardson added: "We don't want to aim too high, too quickly. She was impressive the other day, but we would prefer to creep along with her.
"The Fillies And Mares race at Ascot is something we would definitely look at. It is back over a mile and a half, but the ground would suit her."
