YORK

1.55

ANGEL’S HIDEAWAY was impressive when winning the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot last time.

3

She tanked along there and had no problem keeping her rivals at bay.

That was over this distance and she can produce a lot more for Frankie Dettori and John Gosden.

Fairyland looks the biggest danger after her third in the Albany at Royal Ascot.

She has been off for two months since then but had earlier won a Curragh Listed race in style and has talent.

FANAAR is stepping back up in class and has what it takes to be successful at this level.

Trainer William Haggas has been pretty patient with this colt who improved in defeat when second at Yarmouth last time.

That was after a simple enough win at Leicester where this trip looked ideal.

He needs to take a step forward but is capable of doing just that.

At decent odds, Celebrity Dancer has a chance after winning a shade cosily at Ayr last time out.

FIRMAMENT won this two years ago and comes here in better form than seventh place suggests because he was very unlucky at Goodwood last time.

He was coming with a real rattle in the Betfred Mile there only to have the door firmly closed on him. He’s only 2lb higher than his success in this contest and should be right there again.

Sharja Bridge possibly didn’t enjoy himself over 1m2f in an Ascot Listed race last time and ran some good races over this sort of trip last term.

3.35

CORONET was second in this race 12 months ago and can go one better this time.

She wasn’t disgraced in the King George at Ascot last time after going down in a photo for a French Group 1.

This distance is ideal and John Gosden continues to have his horses in excellent form.

Sea Of Class was impressive when winning the Irish Oaks last time and looks the main danger, while Dermot Weld’s Eziyra is lightly raced and open to lots of improvement.

4.15

LAH TI DAR hasn’t had things go smoothly but she was well fancied and backed for the Oaks after winning the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket in May.

She sticks to that level here and it will be disappointing if she doesn’t win this prize with the step up in distance certain to suit.

Frankel filly Sun Maiden is dropping class after not handling Goodwood last time. She earlier went close in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot and that looks decent form.

4.50

MOVE SWIFTLY put in a fantastic effort to win at Goodwood last time out despite meeting all kinds of trouble in running.

She also had a poor draw that day so the winning margin of just over a length doesn’t tell the full story.

That was her first run on turf so there should be a lot more to come.

Dark Intention likes it here and won well on her last visit. She gets on well with today’s claiming rider and has an each-way shout.
