FRIDAY brings with it the start of a two-day meeting at Sandown, and there's quality action there and all around the country.
The Sun Racing team have studied the form to find you the best bets and each-way selections for each race meeting.
Sandown
Best bet
3.50 Global Conqueror - Going from strength to strength for Simon Crisford and has been raised 4lb for winning nicely at Chelmsford last time. This is quite a deep contest but he is still unexposed on turf and man of the moment James Doyle takes the reins.
Each-way
1.40 Slowmo - Didn't perform that well over six furlongs when sent off favourite for nursery debut, but back over the minimum he can resume improvement. Has a landed a good draw and is capable of better.

Thirsk
Best bet
3.05 Cliff - It's taken a while but Nigel Tinkler's eight-year-old has finally bounced back to form and was possibly slightly unlucky not to win last time out. That second followed a victory on soft ground at this track, and now everything looks in place for another big run.
Each-way
5.15 Buonarroti - Doesn't win very often but this is the first time he gets to drop down to 0-70 level since his last victory. Likely to be very tough to beat from the head of the weights.
Wolverhampton
Best bet
6.35 The Throstles - Was given a very good ride by Rossa Ryan to land a handicap at the track last time out but he'd have been a convincing winner nonetheless. Gone up in grade again and Rossa Ryan rides another rival, but he's never been in better form and will take the world of beating.
Each-way
6.05 Les Gar Gan - Was slightly unlucky not to go very close at the track on his penultimate start, and then finished lame last time out when challenging. He hasn't won for a long time but Sara Del Fabbro takes off an extra 7lb and this is his time to strike.
UP FOR THE CUP Here's all you need to know about the 2018 Melbourne Cup
Hamilton
Best bet
6.25 Stewardess - Has turned over a new leaf of late for Richard Fahey, winning very nicely on her last two starts. She goes up in grade but has the look of a progressive filly and it will take a good one to peg her back.
Each-way
6.55 Theglasgowwarrior - Unsurprisingly found the Sky Bet Handicap too hot at York last week but had been in good form previously, finding trouble in running twice following a nice performance in victory. Now returns to his favourite track and provided he gets a clear passage, can take the beating.
Newcastle
Best bet
6.15 Inpromptu - Showed improved form to land a soft ground novice at Thirsk last time out and although this is a different test, she could be nicely handicapped off 79. Roger Varian has his string in good form and this one has potential for better.
Each-way
8.45 Silently - Contests a very weak race here and after only four starts is definitely capable of more. Still lightly raced and can take this on the way to better things.
Bangor
Best bet
3.30 King Alfonso - May have only won a selling hurdle last time but he never looked in any danger and can strike now returned to chasing. His confidence will be restored and he can make light of top weight.
Each-way
4.05 Included - Showed a lot more last time on his second run returned from a break and can get his head in front this time. Has the services of Sam Twiston-Davies and that can help him return to the winners' circle.
