Tom Dascombe to step Solario Stakes second Arthur Kitt up in trip
Dascombe was pleased enough with his Royal Ascot winner at Sandown on Saturday
TOM DASCOMBE is excited for the future following Arthur Kitt's fine effort in the Solario Stakes at Sandown.
Arthur Kitt was readily passed by impressive winner Too Darn Hot but stuck to his guns to hold on to second place.
He was four lengths behind the winner but another three and three-quarter lengths ahead of Confiding in third place.
Now Dascombe is looking to step his talented youngster up in trip to a mile.
There still looks to be plenty of improvement to come with Arthur Kitt having just three runs under his belt.
Dascombe said: "We were pleased enough. Obviously it's always disappointing not to win a race but I think we were beaten by a very good horse and he's fine this morning. We're happy with that

"We'll make some plans in a day or two when we've seen how he's come out of the race.
"I should think we'll stick him up to a mile, probably. I think he's really crying out for it.
"There are plenty of options and we'll take it one step and at a time."
