IMPRESSIVE Sandown winner King Of Comedy is lining up a shot at either the Dewhurst or the Racing Post Trophy.
After only the one start connections are eyeing up the Group 1's ahead of a possible tilt at the classics next season.
The son of Kingman won impressively on his racecourse bow and the race has already thrown up Group winner Phoenix Of Spain.
John Gosden has assembled a formidable team of juveniles that includes Calyx, Too Darn Hot and Beatboxer and it has allowed the trainer to take their time with King of Comedy who was very green during his maiden win.
Hugo Lascelles, racing manager to owner-breeder Lady Bamford, told Sun Racing: "He's back in work now and in very good form, we're very happy with him.
"He's just been a bit backward and showing lots of immaturity. We've taken our time with him after Sandown and he's grown nicely into his frame.

"He has some big entries in the next three or four weeks that include the Dewhurst and the Racing Post Trophy.
"I can't say exactly which one we'll go with but they are there and he's in very good form at home."
The half-brother to Star Of Seville is a 33-1 shot for next season's 2000 Guineas and will have no issues with the trip at that time of the year and is likely to want further in time.
He can be chanced at 40-1 for the Derby.
