Templegate

GO Lah Lah in the St Leger at Donny.

LAH TI DAR (3.35 Doncaster) is beautifully bred out of top-class mare Da Re Mi, and she has looked out of the top drawer all the way through her career.

She probably would have won the Oaks but for missing out through injury when a solid favourite, but she came roaring back with an impressive win at York last month.

Jockey Frankie Dettori is adamant that she will stay over this trip, and that is good enough for me.

Steve Mullen

LOXLEY (3.35) can stun hotpot Lah Ti Dar by winning the St Leger at Doncaster.

Godolphin have a quality stayer on their hands in this son of New Approach who scooted in at Deauville last time.

He improved with every stride over 1m4f there and should show a lot more now upped in distance.

There has been plenty of support this week and the softish ground on Town Moor will be right up his street.

BLAKENEY POINT holds outstanding claims in Chester's 2.40.

The Roger Charlton-trained stayer has been holding his own in tough company this season and ran a cracker to finish fifth in the Ebor last time.

He often produces his best form at this time of year and he will love the testing underfoot conditions.

The five-year-old won on his last visit to this track and he has landed a perfect draw in stall two.
