Newbury races tips, racecard, declarations and preview for the racing live on ITV
The Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes is the feature race at Newbury but there's seven strong races to go with it
THE Mill Reef Stakes takes centre stage at Newbury on Saturday and there's been some good winners of the race over the years.
We've got you covered for the day, with an in depth race by race preview of the card.
Race 1 - 1.15pm Racegoers Club 50th Anniversary EBF Novice Stakes
MASARU was a winning debutant and was then backed off the boards ahead of a race at York.
He broke slowly and lost any chance that day, before being heavily hampered. He's clearly better than that and looks very hard to oppose here.
There's then very little form to go off and Phosphor could be one to throw a dart at. Martyn Meade likes to introduce nice horses at Newbury and he's one to watch in the market.
Dargel is likely to know his job for Clive Cox and is another one to keep an eye for in the betting.
VERDICT - 1. Masaru 2. Phosphor 3. Dargel

Race 2 - 1.45pm Dubai Duty Free Handicap
This is as solid a handicap as you'll find over the weekend and STYLEHUNTER is the one to side with.
He's been brought along steadily by John Gosden and can make hay with another pot here.
My Lord And Master looks a big price for William Haggas. This is his handicap bow and his form behind Rostropovich reads well at this level.
Buzz could be another outsider to run a big race after disappointing last time out.
VERDICT - 1. Stylehunter 2. My Lord And Master 3. Buzz
Race 3 - 2.20pm Dubai Duty Free Legacy Cup Stakes (Group 3)
A strong Group 3 should fall the way of MIRAGE DANCER. He'll be short enough, but Sir Michael Stoute has got him putting his best foot forward now and this galloping track will suit.
He won't want any rain which is worth looking out for, but otherwise should be good enough despite a penalty.
Extra Elusive is an interesting entry for Roger Charlton and if the stable had been going better I'd be much sweeter on his chances.
Desert Encounter saves his best for Newbury and will be there or thereabouts. But bear in mind only the top two will be paid out.
VERDICT - 1. Mirage Dancer 2. Extra Elusive 3. Desert Encounter
Race 4 - 2.55pm Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes (Group 2)
The feature race of the afternoon is as tricky as you'd expect but my slight preference is for the Karl Burke-trained TRUE MASON.
The yard are flying and his two runs behind Signora Cabello and Pretty Pollyanna are up there with some of the best juvenile form of the summer.
Marie's Diamond should bounce back from a poor effort in France and Kessaar should not be ignored for John Gosden after things clicked at Kempton last time.
VERDICT - 1. True Mason 2. Marie's Diamond 3. Kessaar
Race 5 - 3.30pm Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes (Group 3)
Sentiment to the side, I still think TAKE COVER is the one to beat here. He scooped this last season and is still going as well as ever.
He's set to retire after this season and this could be the last time he's seen at the track.
Judicial could be the one to pick up the pieces if El Astronaute and co. go off too quick.
While Hit The Bid could be a sneaky one after his bold show in the Flying Five last week.
VERDICT - 1. Take Cover 2. Judicial 3. Hit The Bid

Race 6 - 4.05pm Racegoers Club 50th Anniversary EBF Novice Stakes
Three of the fifteen here have had the benefit of a run, but all the others have their first day at school.
I'll side with one with a race under their belt in COUP DE GOLD, who went into the tracker after his first try.
He was unlucky at Sandown and did well to plug on as well as he did in what should prove a strong enough race.
Solid Stone is bred to be useful, but will likely take a couple of runs to fire.
Casting is more likely to be an earlier type for Richard Hannon, who tends to have his ready for their first outing.
VERDICT - 1. Coup De Gold 2. Casting 3. Solid Stone
Race 7 - 4.40pm Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Handicap
TEMPLE CHURCH will be the one to pray for in this competitive handicap.
He's handicapped nicely and talented enough to take this after his comeback run at Haydock recently. That should have set him up perfectly for this.
What A Welcome is hard to ignore after a remarkable run of results - seven from eight in handicaps.
He's Amazing could be an each way shout as his last run at Sandown can be forgiven.
VERDICT - 1. Temple Church 2. What A Welcome 3. He's Amazing
Race 8 - 5.15pm Heatherwold Stud Handicap
RAGSTONE VIEW gets a tentative nod in the Newbury finale.
Oisin Murphy is on board and this three-year-old sneaks in at the bottom of the weights at a course he loves.
Prevent will go close for Ralph Beckett and Quick Breath could be an each way shot on a tempting mark.
VERDICT - 1. Ragstone View 2. Prevent 3. Quick Breath
