Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Warwick, Lingfield, Beverley and Chelmsford

Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of today's meetings

ANOTHER day, another dollar. At least, that's the plan anyway.

There's four cards across the day, with a good mixture of racing offering up some decent opportunities.

1

Lingfield

Best bet

1.30 The Warrior - Drops into a Class 5 for the first time and has dropped markedly in the weights while still putting up some okay runs. The new headgear will have to bring some improvement though.

Each way

4.20 La Maharajah - Solid enough maiden and novice form. Backed off the boards ahead of handicap debut at Windsor. Failed to fire and has been quiet since, but very hopeful there's more to come at this level.

Beverley

Best bet

3.55 Perfect Pasture - Well clear on the ratings and shaped well at Ayr at the weekend before fading out of it. This race should suit his style.

Each way

6.00 Procida - Tend to avoid races like this, but this runner catches the eye. Jockey is one to watch in these races and has shown glimpses of form to suggest a mark of 54 should not be a stumbling block for long.

Chelmsford

Best bet

8.45 Gemini - A weak race and if she runs up to anywhere close to his win on prior start she should scoot clear here. Drawn perfectly and Jason Watson continues to steal 3lbs.

Each way

7.15 Insurgence - Wide open race but James Fanshawe's gelding should be a price. Consistent horse and yard have hit their stride in recent days.

Warwick

Best bet

2.55 Laughing Luis - Shown enough in two bumper wins to suggest he'll be too good for these. Looks the weaker of the two divisions and the runners Nicky Henderson is sending out are running well.

Each way

3.30 Cap Du Nord - Off the track a while and could do with some rain beforehand, but looks to have solid claims at an each way price. Still unexposed and has run well in better fields. We need the eight to stay in for the bookies to pay three places.
