THE Juddmonte Royal Lodge should dance to BEATBOXER.
His form falls short of some of his rivals but there’s no doubting his potential. He won nicely on his debut at Sandown and followed up in good style at Haydock last month.
This is a big step up in grade but he does have a similar profile to last year’s winner – also trained by John Gosden - Roaring Lion.
If he’s anywhere near as good as that one he’ll bolt up and he certainly does look smart.
Arthur Kitt was brushed aside by another talented Gosden youngster in Too Darn Hot last time. That’s not to say he didn’t run in that Sandown Group 3 and the step up from 7f to 1m is sure to help Tom Dascombe’s Chesham Stakes hero.
Mohawk might be the best of Aidan O’Brien’s three runners but none of the trio look particularly exciting.
I’m more worried about Kuwait Currency. He did well to overcome traffic problems to win a Salisbury Listed contest last month and looks to have more improvement in him.

PRETTY POLLYANNA is looking good for the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes.
She avoided all the trouble to cause a shock in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket’s July Meeting when runner-up Angel’s Hideaway was one of those badly hampered.
That’s clearly suspect form but there was nothing dodgy about her Group 1 Prix Morny win in France last month. She travelled really well in front and had too many guns for Signora Cabello in the closing stages. He prominent style of racing is well suited to this rack.
Signora Cabello is again a threat. She kept finding to give Pretty Pollyanna more to think about than looked likely at one stage at Deauville.
There’s no doubt she’s a smart filly but I’m not sure how she will reverse the form.
Fairyland finished in front of my fancy when a close third in the Albany at Royal Ascot. Pretty Pollyanna has improved past Aidan O’Brien’s filly since then and Fairyland’s nose defeat of The Mackem Bullet at York last month shouldn’t be good enough.
Irish raider Lady Kaya and Comedy both have each-way claims.

BACKING unbeaten TEN SOVEREIGNS might not make you rich but it should put some at least put some cash in your pocket.
He could not have been more impressive when bolting up by seven lengths on his debut. Considering Aidan O’Brien’s youngsters usually take a fairly big step forward from their first starts that was some performance.
He again showed he has the potential to be top drawer when having little trouble batting away Bruce Wayne in a Curragh Group 3 four weeks ago.
Jash is also unbeaten after two races. He thrashed a clutch of subsequent winners at Newmarket on his debut and followed up in a weaker race at Brighton when cruising home by nine lengths. Simon Crisford’s hope is a worthy opponent.
Emaraaty Ana beat Legends Of War in last month’s Gimcrack at York but I didn’t think that was a strong Group 2. That could end up being his finest hour.

YOU need Style to win the Bet365 Cambridgeshire.
Luckily STYLEHUNTER looks to have the moves to win this charge down the Newmarket straight.
This promising three-year-old – trained by John Gosden – had some good form in novice races before switching to handicaps in the Britannia at Royal Ascot.
Strangely that wasn’t run at the strong pace it usuallyis and my fancy did well to finish sixth behind all-the-way winner Ostilio. That’s strong form.
Last month’s Goodwood win didn’t tell us much but it was nice to see him brush aside his rivals. I also like the fact he’s won over 1m2f so he has a lot going for him.
Gosden – going for his fourth Cambridgeshire win – also runs Wissahickon under Frankie Dettori.
He’s won four of his six races and bounced back from a below-par effort on Newmarket’s July Course when impressive at Chelmsford last month. There’s a fair chance he’ll end up in Group races.
Danceteria is the other one I like. His winning streak came to an end at the Curragh two weeks ago but that was no disgrace. There are plenty more wins in this fella but it will not be easy coming through from the rear in a race like this.
William Haggas has predictably got a string hand. His Alfarris has a chance after his York second to Pivione but I prefer stablemate Seniority. He came home well to win Goodwood’s Golden Mile and this type of race will suit the Queen’s runner.

TAKE the Hiss to have the last laugh.
JUST HISS is a fresh horse having had just four runs this season. He twice ran well from a wide draw at Ripon last month having returned from a summer break.
The way he came home to finish third on heavy ground at Carlisle in a race dominated from the front was most promising.
He was only beaten half-a-length when third in this race 12 months ago. The winner – Century Dream – won a Group 3 this season so it’s not hard to see Tim Easterby’s hope going close.
Mitchum Swagger is interesting. He spent most of last season running in Group races and he ran a cracker for Ralph Beckett on his first start since leaving David Lanigan when third behind Addeybb in the Lincoln. His absence since is not a worry as he goes well fresh and he needs easy ground.
Escobar was unlucky not finish closer than eighth in Goodwood’s Golden Mile but his two subsequent runs in Ireland have been underwhelming. Easy ground adds to the worries.
Aquarium went close at Newbury last week but he doesn’t help himself with slow starts and he does tend to pull hard.

NOTHING Ventured nothing gained.
I’m sure we’ll enjoy the gains of FINAL VENTURE today.
He might not have won since June of last year but he’s been in good form recently. He was narrowly denied by El Astronaute in a hot York handicap last month when Holmeswood was back in third.
ITV RACING What races will be shown live on ITV4 on Saturday, September 29?
His two runs since came in Listed races and he wasn’t disgraced in either. Today’s easy ground will help and I fancy him to give weight away all round.
Dakota Gold ran well when sixth in last week’s Ayr Silver Cup and the drop to 5f is probably in his favour.
Confessional was just in front of him in third at Ayr and is holding his form well. He’s another with plenty of form over today’s shorter trip.
I was tempted to chance Soie D’Leau. He’s weighted to reverse Nottingham form with Tarboosh and was forced to go too hard from a wide draw at Sandown last time. The soft ground is right up his street.
