Templegate’s horse racing tips: Epsom and Musselburgh – Templegate’s betting preview for racing on Sunday, September 30

Epsom and Musselburgh come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day

DIG out some cash for Owen Burrow’s GANAYEM (nap) in Epsom’s 3.05.

She looked a future star when winning two good novice races earlier in the season.

My fancy was sent off second favourite for the Sandringham at Royal Ascot but like many of her trainer’s runners she failed to fire.

Burrows is firing in the winners now and Ganayem is well drawn for a frontrunner.

LANG TOUN LADY (2.40 Musselburgh, nb) showed promise in novice races but she took a step forward to win over today’s course and distance on her handicap debut.

The follow up looks on the cards.

Templegate's treble

  • NAP 3.05 Epsom - Ganayem: 'Yard coming into full steam and well drawn as front runner'
  • NEXT BEST 2.40 Musselburgh - Lang Toun Lady: 'Took a step forward on handicap debut and more expected here'
  • Treble 4.20 Musselburgh - Crotchet: 'Likes it here and form of course win is strong'

CROTCHET (4.20 Musselburgh, treble) won over 7f at this track last month and then returned to run another solid race. She looks ready for the step up to 1m.
