LADY COSETTE should be happy over this trip after finishing off well over shorter in a Doncaster nursery last time out.
Before that she had put in good efforts at Windsor and Goodwood where this distance suited better.
She looks on a fair mark and can get the better of another improver in Winter Gleam who was a good third at Salisbury last time out.

THREE COMETS cost more than half a million quid so connections must have been pleased with the way he won with ease at Hamilton last time out.
That was over this distance and he finished off very strongly so a longer trip will suit next season. In the meantime, he is open to lots of improvement and looks set for a big run.
Persian Moon sets the standard with a good win at York in July before being slightly outclassed in Pattern races on his last two runs.

GANAYEM is the interesting one taking a fair drop in class returning from a long break. She was last seen running in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot for which she was fancied.
That proved too much but she’s beautifully bred and won a couple of maidens with ease earlier this term. Provided fitness isn’t an issue she will be hard to beat.
Ace Ventura has had just one run this season and looked rusty enough. He looked a nice prospect when winning his maiden last term and could improve on that.

CORAZON ESPINADO likes it here and was a convincing winner over course and distance last month. The ground was on the testing side that day and the juice in it will help.
He’s 7lb higher in the weights now but was a close second at Kempton off his higher mark last time and could take another step forward.

SANS SOUCI BAY ran well in a stronger race than this at Chester last time and also showed up nicely when fifth at York the time before.
The handicapper has given him a little help, while his rider’s 5lb claim won’t do any harm either. He likes this trip and should go close on ground that suits.
De Vegas Kid has been winning with ease in lesser company and had plenty in hand at Brighton last time. While in hot form, he won’t be far away.

NIGHTINGALE VALLEY found the finishing post coming too soon when third here last time and will be much happier over this extra furlong.
The drop in class should also help her go close off the same mark. She acts on any ground and has strong claims.
Stringybark Creek had plenty in hand when scoring at Beverley last time so a 6lb penalty may not put the brakes on.

CANFORD’S JOY is capable of better than we’ve seen from him lately and Silvestre De Sousa has been booked on this first run for new trainer Amy Murphy.
That’s a tip in itself but he’s also dropped right down the weights and has enjoyed this trip and soft ground in the past.
