Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Hereford, Kempton and Plumpton

JUST three meetings to focus on today, but there is some particularly good action at Kempton this evening.

3.15 Super Scorpion - Strong traveller who has run well in defeat over 2m5f the last twice. The drop back to 2m could be a good move and Richard Johnson takes the ride.

3.45 Keppel Isle - Sole career win came off an 18lb higher mark. He took a step in the right direction when fourth at Plumpton last time and this is a very winnable contest.

Best bet

6.30 Golden Iris - Won with a degree of authority over course and distance last time. Up 4lb but can dominate again from her low draw.

6.00 Dragon Mall - Capable performer on his day for David Simcock. Having his first run for a new yard, and a change of scenery could spark him back to life.

Plumpton

Best bet

3.00 Royal Hall - He is in the form of his life at present. His recent victory at this course was given a big boost last weekend, so he should be hard to beat.

Each-way

1.30 Stormingin - Didn't run as badly as the result suggests when beaten on his only start over hurdles to date. Will be better prepared now and yard do well here.
