November Handicap runners and riders: Your pinstickers guide to the final field for the competitive season finale at Doncaster this Saturday
Sun Racing run you through all the runners and riders for this year's November Handicap
MASTER the bookies in the November Handicap (3.15 Doncaster).
MY LORD AND MASTER looks to be crying out for this trip after finishing well over 1m2f at York last time out.
He might have won on the Knavesmire had he challenged earlier and Danny Tudhope takes over in the saddle from a promising claimer today.
He has relatively few miles on the clock and is one of the few in the field who is on the upgrade.
WHAT ABOUT CARLO 1/5
CARLO blow. Has been struggling in Listed and Group races and looks a little high in the weights returning to handicap company.Best efforts have come over shorter, although he appears to stay. Hard to fancy after such a poor run last time.
TO BE WILD 3/5
WILD card. He’s coming back from 539 days off and his last win came in a handicap here. He has since held his own in Group 3 company but looks a little high in the weights on this comeback.
A market move would give us a big clue to his fitness.
ROYAL LINE 4/5
ROYAL could reign supreme. Impressed when winning a decent race over this trip at Epsom last time out from 10lb lower. That was way back in April, which is a worry, but John Gosden will have him fit and should be stronger than when finishing seventh in this 12 months ago.
HOCHFELD 3/5
HOCH could shock. Has place claims after several good runs this season, including when beaten on the nod in Listed company last time. Trip suits and he capable of sneaking into the places at big odds.

GREY BRITAIN 2/5
GREY won’t pay. Struggled in an Ascot Group 3 last time after earlier digging deep to win a handicap over this trip at Newmarket. He could strip fitter given he was off for five months but he’s up the weights and struggled in the Lincoln on his last trip here.
TEMPLE CHURCH 2/5
DON’T worship Church. Landed a win in the mud at Newbury in September but has been poor twice since, including off this mark. He likes this trip and is capable of bouncing back but doesn’t look one to rely on.
RESTORER 3/5
REST needs his very best. Was well backed when winning over this trip at Leicester last time but faces a stiffer test today. A 1lb rise in the weights for that win looks very fair and he likes some cut in the ground. Could run into a place if all falls right.
WOLF COUNTRY 3/5
WOLF’S got bite. Comes from top team of Charlie Appleby and James Doyle on the back of a solid second to Now Children at Goodwood last time. That was just his third run of the season and he’s a Listed winner at best. This trip suits and it would be no shock to see his form improve off this fair mark.
BUZZ 4/5
BUZZ is a big noise. Stayed on strongly to win over 1m2f at Newbury last time so this longer trip is ideal. He looks capable of better again on ground that suits from an ideal draw. One of the leading contenders.
MY LORD AND MASTER 5/5
LORD has a prayer. William Haggas continues in good form and this three-year-old caught the eye with a close second at York last time. That was over 1m2f but he shapes as though this trip suits and he came from a long way back at the Knavesmire. He needs to improve but is capable of managing that.
STARGAZER 2/5
STAR on the wane. Did well on the all-weather earlier this year but has been poor all three starts on turf. Was hammered in the Cesarewitch last time and a 2lb drop down the weights gives him a mountain to climb.
NOW CHILDREN 3/5
NOW or never. Looks to have been laid out for this race and warmed up with a convincing win at Goodwood last time over this distance. Ground was heavy that day but this sounder surface also suits and he should be capable of improvement.

LORELINA 2/5
I’M against the Lor. Landed three lesser races before struggling when upped in class and distance at Goodwood last time. Has crept up the weights despite her claiming rider taking off 5lb and needs a big personal best just to get on the podium.
NOT SO SLEEPY 1/5
SLEEPY needs to wake up. Has been running well without winning, including when third at Leicester last time. Seems to like this trip but has had much easier chances to hit the target this season.
FUN MAC 1/5
MAC’s out the back. Real stayer who started this season with an excellent second in the Chester Cup. Has been moderate since then and was well beaten in the Cesarewitch last time. Needs very best to figure.
ERIK THE RED 2/5
DON’T put it on Red. Fair run when a hampered fourth at York last time but this is hotter company. His best form has come over 1m2f so, while he has gone well here before, he doesn’t look up to this.
AASHEQ 2/5
AASH won’t catch fire. Comes from Tim Easterby so warrants respect but form looks a little below this level. Was poor at Leicester last time when his ran petered out and looks to need more than the 1lb drop in the weights to go close.
RESHOUN 3/5
DES Res. Ian Williams’s hope was a comfortable winner over 1m6f in the mud at Haydock las time and he likes Town Moor. A 4lb rise in the weights gives him a chance but he would probably need this to turn into a slog. Watch for any rain.
EVERYTHING FOR YOU 4/5
YOU better believe it. Comes here in cracking form after winning at Haydock before taking a close-up second in the Silver Cambridgeshire at Newmarket. Is only 4lb higher here from a good draw. Question mark is the trip but he won’t be far away if getting home.
BIRDS OF PREY 4/5
BIRDS has wings. Did well for John Oxx in Ireland and has had a wind op since going down in a photo at Haydock last time. This trip should suit and he looks well weighted even before his rider’s 5lb claim. Ground is ideal and he comes from a handy draw.

EDDYSTONE ROCK 3/5
ROCK looks solid. Caught the eye with a fast-finishing fifth in hot company at Naas last time out. Was third in this race 12 months ago from 9lb higher in the weights and must be on the shortlist.
BAYDAR 2/5
BAY’s had his day. Losing run goes back more than two years now but there were positive signs when second at York last time upped to 2m. Has tumbled down the weights and has winning form in this class – but needs the first-time blinkers to work wonders.
SEAFARER 1/5
ALL at Sea. Has landed three places from three starts this season but was well held by Now Children at Goodwood last month and has had no help from the handicapper. First-time blinkers today but has a big gap to bridge.
