The Wizard of Odds guides you through Friday's racing at Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, Lingfield and Newcastle
TIGER ROLL is back at his favourite track for the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham (3.00).
Gordon Elliott’s eight-year-old was good enough to win the big contest over this unique track at the Festival where he handled the challenge really well.
He went on to win no less a contest than the Grand National at Aintree to underline his qualities as a staying chaser.
The handicapper has been reasonable with a 9lb rise in weights for winning that prestigious contest and his talent over these obstacles more than makes up for that.
He has no issues seeing out the 3m6f distance and, although he has bigger fish to fry later this season, he has gone well fresh in the past and should be fit to do himself justice.

DOUBLE TREASURE can bring home the booty in Cheltenham’s 3.35.
He has looked revitalised since moving back over hurdles following a couple of modest efforts as a chaser.
After a couple of successes at novice level, he took a warranted step up in class to finish second in the Grade 2 Persian War at Chepstow last time out. He was bang in contention there with a big gap back to the third horse home.
He has to improve again but there shapes as though there is a lot more to come.

SUN HAT (1.25 Lingfield) has taken a big leap forward with every run and battled well to win in a photo at Wolverhampton last time out.
That was just his third outing and he kept going right to the line, although this slightly shorter distance looks a wise move.
He has been given a fair mark of 78 for this handicap debut and the first-time cheekpieces may just help as he gains more experience.
LUCKY 15: SUN HAT (1.25 Lingfield), UNCLE JERRY (2.00 Lingfield), TIGER ROLL (3.00 Cheltenham), DOUBLE TREASURE (3.35 Cheltenham)
EACH-WAY DOUBLE: THE YOUNG MASTER (12.40 Cheltenham) came right back to his best when winning with plenty in hand at Chepstow last time. He gets on well with his amateur rider and a 5lb rise in the weights looks fair. Double up with SPIRIT OF ZEBEDEE (3.45 Lingfield) who has been going well on turf and looks on a fair mark returning to the all-weather.
UNCLE JERRY (2.00 Lingfield) has hardly hat to get out of second gear when winning at Kempton and Chelmsford on his past two runs.
He was clear a long way out last time and impressed by galloping right to the line. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with here but the standard of opposition doesn’t look quite so hot.
