Free horse racing tips for today: Kempton, Hereford and Plumpton – The Wizard of Odds’ betting preview for Monday, November 19
The Wizard of Odds guides you through Monday's racing at Kempton, Hereford and Plumpton
BERMEO can land four wins on the spin by winning Plumpton’s 3.05.
He didn’t show a lot as a hurdler but has developed into a useful handicap chaser with his form taking a real leap forward this autumn.
He landed a couple of narrow wins, at Newton Abbot and Worcester before cruising home at Fontwell last time out.
That was over 3m2f but he wasn’t stopping so this slightly longer distance shouldn’t be an issue. The handicapper hasn’t gone crazy with a 5lb rise depite that convincing success so another win is on the cards.
WELLUPTOSCRATCH (3.35 Plumpton) ran a cracker when second at Hereford last time and this doesn’t look any tougher.
He was coming back after more than six months off there, which looked to make the difference in the closing stages.

It may have also been the 3m2f distance that played a part so this slight drop back in trip is another positive.
PADDLING (12.45 Hereford) has been knocking on the door and came back from seven months off to finish a solid third at Kelso last time out.
This is a fair drop down the classes and the handicapper has continued to help as he’s now a fair 6lb higher than his last win — but his claimer takes 10lb off.
In a race that doesn’t take much winning his average level of form would be good enough to strike.
Wizard's magic tips...
EACH-WAY THIEF: GANNICUS (1.30 Plumpton) didn’t get the run of the race at Southwell last time but finished a close second here two runs ago. A repeat of that would put him right in the frame again. Put him in an each-way double with COUGAR KID (2.45 Hereford) who went close at Hereford last time and looks well waited.
LUCKY 15: PADDLING (12.45 Hereford), EMBOLE (1.45 Hereford), BERMEO (3.05 Plumpton), WELLUPTOSCRATCH (3.35 Plumpton)
EMBOLE (1.45 Hereford) has found himself in a tricky three-runner race but he can get the better of his two rivals.
He looked very rusty on his comeback at Huntingdon last time out when finishing a solid fourth.
He likes this trip and goes from the front so he could leave the other two behind, with Style De Garde coming back after a wind operation.
