IT'S Ladbrokes Trophy day at Newbury, and the seven-race card is an absolute belter.
There are some brilliant contests in store and we've put together a tidy, all in one preview for you punters to enjoy.
Race 1 - 12.10pm Ladbrokes Mares' Novices' Hurdle (Listed)
LUST FOR GLORY ran out a ready winner of a good mares' hurdle at this track on her last start.
She will be tough to beat if running to that level again and looks a young hurdler with a bright future.
Posh Trish was second behind the selection on that occasion and can land the silver medal again ahead of Passing Call.

Race 2 - 12.45pm Ladbrokes John Francome Novices' Chase (Grade 2)
The exciting SANTINI makes his eagerly awaited chasing debut for his powerful yard.
He is a huge beast who had good form over hurdles, and the reports heading into this contest have been positive.
If he fluffs his lines, Albert Bartlett hero Kilbricken Storm will be the most likely beneficiary, with Mr Big Shot next best.

Race 3 - 1.20pm Sir Peter O'Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase
Take a chance on ROCKLANDER for Tom George, who won this race two years ago with O Maonlai.
The nine-year-old is a course and distance winner and he finished a cracking third at the Cheltenham Festival off this mark.
Adrien Du Pont probably would have finished closer at Ascot but for a mistake, so he is feared most ahead of Kayf Adventure.

Race 4 - 1.50pm Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle
SPEEDO BOY won with more in hand than the winning margin suggests at Cheltenham last time out.
He still looks on a decent mark off 124 judged on his smart form on the Flat.
The progressive Champ is not opposed lightly for his top connections, while Who's My Jockey can go well at a price.

Race 5 - 2.25pm Ladbrokes Intermediate Hurdle (Listed)
The upwardly-mobile BALLYMOY won in good style on his return to action at Chepstow.
The form of his big-field win at Sandown in March has also been working out nicely, and he is fancied to complete the five-timer.
Ben Pauling harbours Champion Hurdle hopes for Global Citizen, so he should go very close here, while Whatswrongwithyou was given a shocker when beaten at Sandown so is worth another chance.

Race 6 - 3.00pm Ladbrokes Trophy Chase (Grade 3)
A smaller field than usual for this great race, and THOMAS PATRICK holds leading claims for his top trainer.
The eight-year-old jumps like a buck and stays well and he will have come on a ton for his comeback run at Sandown.
Elegant Escape is worse off at the weights having narrowly come out on top in that race, but he should run a big race nonetheless.
Ms Parfois and Beware The Bear are others to consider closely.

Race 7 - 3.35pm Ladbrokes In Memory Of Tara Von Ihering Handicap Chase
Kerry Lee's classy chaser TOP GAMBLE is 2-2 over this course and distance.
He has slipped to an attractive mark and the booking of Richard Johnson is an added bonus.
Bigmartre is better than he showed last time and should bounce back, while the in-form Lady Buttons can make her presence felt.
