URBANIST (12.40 Ffos Las) has had a wind operation since moving to the excellent Dr Richard Newland and both those factors usually bring improvement.
His form was already fair enough and he finished second in a decent Fairyhouse handicap in April when with Shane Nolan in Ireland.
The yard is in form has a cracking record of improving horses like this. If this isn’t the day, he’s one to follow anyway.

He took a big step forward when winning over course and distance last time out. It was just his third start over fences and he loved every yard of this demanding trip to win going away.
The handicapper has shunted him up the weights for that but this looks a similar race and he has a lot more to offer.
SUTTER’S MILL (3.20 Ffos Las) should enjoy this slightly longer trip after needing every yard of 3m to win at Ludlow last time out.
The narrow margin on that win means the handicapper hasn’t been too harsh with a 6lb rise and he looked to have a fair bit left in the tank.
The second has come out and won since so the form looks solid enough.

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: SEAWEED (2.35 Plumpton) used to be with Tony Martin in Ireland and showed positive signs for Chris Gordon when second here last time.
Pair him with CHIVERS (3.05 Plumpton) who came back from a break to finish a fair fourth on chasing debut here latest and should improve for the experience.
DRAGON BEAT (6.15 Wolverhampton) is an interesting yard mover making her debut for Michael Appleby today.
He excels with horses like this and usually has them nice and ready for their first run.
This two-year-old doesn’t have a lot of weight and showed some promise when fourth at Southwell last time out.
This looks like a good chance to get off the mark.
