The big meeting of the day is of course at Kempton where the Grade 1 King George takes place. The ITV cameras will be heading to the track and broadcasting the racing from 1.20pm - 3.05pm.

Race schedule: There are six races on the card with the first contest due off at 12.50pm and the final race at 3.40pm.

Feature races: Grade 1 Kauto Star Novices' Chase (1.55pm), Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle (2.30pm) and the Grade 1 King George VI Chase (3.05pm).

Going: The going is currently Good to Soft, Good in Places.

TV channel: You can watch all the racing at Kempton on Racing TV (Sky channel 426, Virgin channel 536). ITV 1 will show four races between 1.20pm - 3.05pm.

LEOPARDSTOWN (IRE)

It's the first day of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival and it promises to be a thriller. The Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase is the highlight of the day.
