Monday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on today's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
ANOTHER welcome day of calm in the world of racing.
With only three cards on the go it gives us a rare chance to dive deeper into the form, and I've landed on a runner at Uttoxeter.
GONNABEGOOD (Uttoxeter, 1.40) makes only his second start over fences, but comes into this race in cracking form.
He's up 5lbs for his latest handicap win over hurdles, but that shouldn't be enough to stop him.
He looks a thorough stayer and this extra furlong combined with the added test of fences should play right into his hands.
Trainer Jeremy Scott is having a great time of things over the Festive period and this steadily-improving seven-year-old should have him starting the party early on New Years' Eve.

He's far from a flashy type and is always only doing enough at the line, a sure way of keeping the handicapper playing catch up.
It's a decent race for the grade and hopefully Flight Commander - on debut for Olly Murphy, with Dickie Johnson on board - should take up much of the betting.
On paper the race should be run at a solid gallop, another tick in the box of this marathon runner.
All in all, he looks worth a crack at the prices and would recommend backing him each way if the price allows.
