Sunday racing tips: A Sunday longshot to fill your pockets at Newcastle from Jack Keene
Don't miss out on this each-way bet for Sunday, January 6 from Jack Keene
I'M a sucker for the sand and can't wait to see the tapeta back at Newcastle on Sunday.
There are a few that catch my eye and I'm relying on Roger Fell to do the biz with a Johnny G cast-off.
DOMMERSEN (2.30 Newcastle) had some decent form in his youth for John Gosden and looks worth punting now he's dropped in class.
He's now down to a mark of 77, which is a stone lower than when he won on the polytrack back in August 2016.
Obviously that was a long time ago but he's actually been pretty lightly raced since and now eases himself into Class 5 grade.
At his best he'd be miles too good for this lot and Ben Sanderson removes a handy 5lb, so now he's even more well-handicapped.
Jack Out The Box - Sunday's each-way pick
2.30 Newcastle - Dommersen: 'He's now down to a mark of 77, which is a stone lower than when he won on the polytrack back in August 2016'
He drops to a much more suitable trip here and everything is in place for a big run.
