LE PRECIEUX (2.15 Newbury) has been in cracking form and a 4lb rise for winning at Ludlow last time gives him every chance of landing three victories in a row.

He has plenty of zip so relishes this 2m on a flat track like Newbury and he landed his first win over fences on similar ground to today. There looks to be a lot more to come.

HARAMBE (1.40 Newbury) was good at bumper level and has gone close a couple of times over hurdles already in his short career.

He showed signs of inexperience when finishing fourth here last time out and the drop back to the minimum trip should also help.

He looks to be a few steps ahead of these rivals.

YOURHOLIDAYISOVER (2.00 Plumpton) has been knocking on the door in similar races to this and was a good fourth again at Warwick last time out.

Before that he hit the crossbar at Fakenham and Sedgefield. He has been accused of not going through with his effort but he’s on a fair mark and won this race two seasons ago.

CHICA DE LA NOCHE (7.30 Kempton) has been really consistent and got a deserved win at Lingfield last time out.

That came over this distance, which seems to be her best, and she did well to strike from the worst of the draw.

She has a much better stall today and a 2lb rise in the weights gives her every chance of following up.
