Saturday racing tips: NAPS for today’s racing as Matt Chapman and Templegate go head-to-head at Ascot and Haydock

THERE'S some belting action on Saturday and our top tipsters reckon they've got all bases covered.

There's still nothing in it - with less than a point between Templegate and Chappers - and there's only two weeks to go in this leg.

Both of our tipsters remain in profit despite a blank for both last weekend.

Chappers relied on Ballykan at Kempton, but he never got in the race behind an impressive Glen Rocco.

Templegate sided with the well-punted Tidal Flow, but the Festival hope failed to fire for Philip Hobbs and it's back to the drawing board with him.

A winner for either this weekend will put them into the lead with just the one week to go. Game on.

Matt Chapman

SILVER STREAK has been in such good form this season for Evan Williams that he is hard to oppose.

His second at Cheltenham last time was a fine effort. And Global Citizen should set the strong pace he needs.

He won't win the Champion Hurdle. But has a huge chance here!

Templegate

Promising novice SEDDON might well have been let into handicaps lightly and he looks the answer to the Matchbook Holloway’s Hurdle at Ascot.

He’s run well in hot races won by top novices Elixir De Nutz and Angels Breath on his last two starts. Those races both had hurdles taken out and that wouldn’t suited Tom George’s youngster.

His last run when third over 2m at this track showed he is going to be an awful lot better over today’s longer distance.

I love his attitude and the decent ground should be ideal.
