ENOLA GAY (2.50 Hereford) can be the latest winner from Venetia Williams after he finished a close-up second at Wincanton last time out.
He filled the same position at Sandown on his latest outing over this trip and he’s only just crept a little up the weights.
Williams is keeping him to the same class of race here and he looks set to get the win his recent form deserves.
ST PETERS BASILICA (2.05 Lingfield) has blinkers on for the first time today and that can give him the little nudge he needs to get his first win.
He showed promise on turf in the autumn and has needed his past couple of runs.
This surface should suit better than the deeper Southwell track and dropping back to 6f could also be a wise move.
LIP SERVICE Venetia Williams expecting big things from Calipto this weekend
ALWAYS RESOLUTE (2.30 Catterick) should find this a little easier than the Ascot contest he was a fair sixth in last time out.
He had earlier won with plenty in hand at Wetherby in November when this shorter distance was also more up his street.
The handicapper has been fair with a 9lb rise for that success and he’s right in the mix under a claiming rider he gets on well with.
TRAPANI (5.15 Kempton) is an interesting runner for John Gosden and Rab Havlin.

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: CHICA DE LA NOCHE (1.30 Lingfield) has hardly put a foot wrong this season and was again right on the premises at Kempton last time. She likes this trip and track and goes off the same mark as last time.
Pair her with LOOKSNOWTLIKEBRIAN (3.20 Hereford) who was pulled up in the Welsh National but earlier landed a couple of convincing wins and can bounce back.
She hasn’t been asked too many questions and was midfield at Newcastle last time on just her second outing.
He should have learned plenty from that experience and is taking another step up in distance here which should suit.
