MAGIC OF LIGHT (2.40 Huntingdon) was impressive when winning a Grade 2 hurdle at Ascot last time out by more than three lengths.
That was just the latest in her run of excellent form which also continues a big win at Punchestown and a Listed success by a brilliant 14 lengths at Newbury.
She’s dropping back to that level here with just a 4lb penalty which makes her hard to beat. The only potential issue is this drop back in distance but her class should see her home.
AXEL JACKLIN (2.20 Lingfield) is dropping into a claimer on the back of a good second in handicap company at Newcastle last time out.
He is best over this distance and a repeat of his last effort down in grade should get the job done.
MUTHABIR (4.05 Doncaster) has been hiked just 4lb for a gutsy win last time out when Richard Johnson took over in the saddle.
The champion keeps the ride and this similar contest should be right within his capabilities.
Wizard's Magic Tips
EACH-WAY DOUBLE: MR JACK (1.35 Huntingdon) ran his best race for a long time when second at Plumpton last time out. He will be right on the premises if seeing out this longer distance.
Pair him with DAYDREAM AULMES (3.45 Huntingdon) who is gunning for a hat-trick after wins at Warwick and over course and distance last time.
SPARKLE IN HIS EYE (4.15 Newcastle) is beautifully bred and wasn’t asked too many questions when second over course and distance last time out.
He should have learned plenty from that first outing and can repay his followers despite pretty short odds.
