Saturday racing tips: NAPS for today’s racing as Matt Chapman and Templegate go head-to-head at Cheltenham and Doncaster

THERE'S some belting action on Saturday and our top tipsters reckon they've got all bases covered.

There's still nothing in it - with less than 12 pence between Templegate and Chappers - and this is the final leg in this part of the head-to-head.

Both of our tipsters remain in profit despite a blank for both last weekend.

Chappers relied on Silver Streak at Haydock, who possibly would have won but for a bad mistake in the home straight.

Templegate went for Seddon at Ascot, but he was unable to get the job done despite travelling strongly into contention.

A winner for either this weekend will put them into the lead in the final week before the standings get a re-boot. Game on.

TRUCKERS LODGE has proven stamina and the highest rating of the Cheltenham Festival hopes in the 2.05 at Doncaster.

He was defeated at Chepstow last time but should get back to winning ways for Paul Nicholls.

Templegate

Wild dogs couldn’t stop me from trying to make cash out of backing DINGO DOLLAR.

He won a novices’ chase over today’s course and distance last season when his jumping was very good.

It was no surprise trainer Alan King – who won this race twice with Ziga Boy in recent years – lined him up for a crack at Newbury’s Ladbrokes Trophy.

He rewarded him by running a cracker from the front before fading into third behind Sizing Tennessee and subsequent Welsh National winner Elegant Escape.

That’s smart form and today’s better ground will suit him even better.
