Saturday’s racing tips: The Wizard of Odds’ stat attack for today’s racing at Cheltenham, Doncaster, Chelmsford, Lingfield and Uttoxeter

The Wizard of Odds has studied the stats and come up with some pearls of wisdom ahead of this afternoon's action

THE Wizard of Odds is hoping he can conjure up some winners with his brand new stats attack!

Our resident magic maestro will be bringing you all the info you could wish for every day in his latest column.

CLASS DROPPERS

Wazowski (1.05 Uttoxeter) stumbled when going well in a class 2 race at Carlisle latest and is dropped two grades into a winnable race.

Spritofthegames (1.15 Cheltenham) found a Grade 2 beyond him last time and should be much happier back in this handicap.

Supremely Lucky (2.50 Uttoxeter) has gone well in a Grade 2 and Listed race on his past two starts so should enjoy this handicap outing.

Brewin’upastorm (3.00 Cheltenham) held his own in the highest class at Newbury last time and looks open to improvement on this ease in grade.

Nelson’s Touch (4.10 Cheltenham) looks a decent each-way bet back in a class 2 handicap after finishing second in Listed company last time out.

Aleeka (4.15 Lingfield) is back at novice level after finishing third in a nursery last time and should find this easier.

Ripplet (7.45 Chelmsford) is an interesting runner in a class 5 novice stakes having last been since running well in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham.


BACKED LAST TIME

Our Power (12.40 Cheltenham) was a market mover before winning last time and could come in for support again.

Betameche (1.40 Uttoxeter) was hammered from 4-1 to 13-8 in the betting before finishing second last time and will be out to make amends.

Antonio Clara (5.45 Chelmsford) was well supported before finding one too good latest so is worth a look tonight.

IN-FORM TRAINERS

Keep a close eye on the Nicky Henderson runners at Cheltenham today. He is running at 40% winners in the past two weeks.

Nick Gifford is also running at 40% winners compared to his usual rate of around 10%. So his The Mighty Don could outrun his odds in Cheltenham’s 3.35 while Theos Charm must have solid claims in the 2.50 at Uttoxeter.

Warriors Tale (3.15 Doncaster) was second in classy contest 12 months ago from 6lb lower in the handicap.
