Trainer Stuart Edmunds has had three winners from just six runners this year and his EARLSHILL (nap) looks to have a fine chance of extending the hot streak.
He won twice over hurdles last spring and was going well in a good race when slipping on the turn when switched to fences.
A two-month break since his last run behind smart prospect Drovers Lane should have done him some good.
I reckon CLARENDON STREET (1.10 Leicester, nb) could be really smart.
He found all sorts of traffic problems when runner-up to Saturday’s Grade 2 winner Birchdale at Warwick on his hurdles debut and he won easily at Wetherby. A weight penalty shouldn’t be a problem.

He did well when runner-up on his first race on the all-weather at Kempton last time.
That was his first try over 2m and he was only seen off in the closing stages. There’s races in him in this grade.
