Sunday racing tips: A Sunday longshot to fill your pockets at Carlisle from Jack Keene
Jack The Tipper shares an each-way bet to die for on Sunday, February 24
I need to grab my anorak and order a parmo as my tip today is up north at Carlisle – usually a true mudlover’s paradise.
The lack of rain has spoiled the pudding a bit, though, and I reckon Iain Jardine holds a winning ticket on this better ground.
His TRADITIONAL DANCER (3.45 Carlisle) appears to have plenty in his favour at juicy odds.
He’s been mixing it up a bit over Flat and Jumps but is a better horses over the sticks by some margin.
Second in a very decent handicap chase at Aintree in October, he then finished fourth over hurdles at Musselburgh where he might have won had he not pulled his chance away.
Jardine equips him with a first-time visor now, so hopefully he can save his energy for later in the contest.
Jack The Tipper - Sunday's each-way pick
Carlisle 3.45 – Traditional Dancer: A mark of 129 definitely doesn’t handicap him out of things and with Ross Chapman in the plate again, he’ll take some beating back over fences.
