Wednesday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on Wednesday's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
WE were hit by a non-runner yesterday so had plenty of time to dive through Wednesday's cards.
I've picked out a strong fancy on handicap debut for the Jeremy Scott team.
BALLYBOUGH NORA (Wincanton, 1.50) looks on a very tempting mark for her handicap bow.
She'll make a decent chaser in time, but has shown enough over hurdles in only three attempts to suggest she should pick up a couple of small heats in this sphere first.
This is a much calmer affair than what she's been up against before. Finishing behind the likes of Danse Idol and Duhallow Gesture is no poor feat in this company.
Now off of only 110, she sneaks in at the top of the weights and should go mighty close at a decent price.
LATEST IN RACING
Jeremy Scott and Rex Dingle are a team to watch out for and have drummed up a 36% strike rate this season.
The Paul Nicholls horse will set the market up nicely in here. However, so soon after his last run I'm more than happy to take him on.
Elsewhere on Wednesday
DENTLEY DE MEE (Wincanton, 2.50) should go mighty close down in grade for the flying Nick Williams. It's a decent race but there's more to come form this chap over fences.
He's effectively 10lbs lower than his latest effort in a strong Cheltenham heat.
