Stratford, Plumpton, Taunton and Kempton both come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day
SANDY BOY (nap) should have his day in the sun in Taunton’s 2.30.
He didn’t show much in novice races but was putting in a much-improved performance before falling at the second-last hurdle at Warwick in December.
That form has worked out well and he’s sure to appreciate this step up in trip.
SMARTY WILD (4.30 Taunton, nb) won easily on his handicap debut at Exeter last week.
He’s clearly well weighted and today’s longer distance will suit him even better.
