Logan Paul wants to switch boxing for UFC after grudge rematch against YouTube rival KSI

LOGAN PAUL has revealed he wants to swap boxing for UFC after he’s finished with his grudge rematch against YouTube rival KSI.

The American YouTube star, 24, has revealed he has “progressed too far” to ever fight another celebrity.

Instead of stepping into the ring against an established boxer, he is instead hoping Dana White will give him a shot in UFC.

Ahead of his pro fight with British star KSI on November 9, Paul claimed: “I will have progressed too much to ever fight another celebrity or YouTuber after this.

“I would honestly love to fight in the UFC. I want Dana White to put me in the Octagon.

“Last year I f***ed around and showboated but this time it will just be a knockout.”

Meanwhile, Paul has opened up about his training tactics as he bids to turn KSI into a “sad meme”.

LIGHTNING

The US ace added: “I have been practising with heavier gloves so when I put the smaller ones on, I will be like lightning.

“I am sparring professional fighters and I am beating them badly. That does so much for my confidence.

“I relied on my athleticism to carry me through the first fight and it almost worked.

“But now I am a boxer, I am literally a professional fighter and I feel like it. I love the idea of beating up the person who is trying to beat me up.”

Paul – who boasted he had been “one of the best wrestlers in Ohio” – stressed his regime under a former world heavyweight champ is as tough as it gets.

He said: “I train in my backyard, I ship sparring partners in from all over the world and my coach is Shannon Briggs.

“We like to keep it low key. I don’t like going to spar in public gyms because there is always one tough guy who wants to try to prove his point.

“You have people on their cell phones trying to film you sparring and that is not my vibe.”
