Tyson Fury not afraid of Miocic or Ngannou after holding UFC talks with Conor McGregor
TSYON FURY has revealed he has spoken to Conor McGregor about a move into UFC - and is targeting heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic.
The Gypsy King, who made a stunning WWE debut in Saudi Arabia against 27-stone Braun Strowman in the week, is ready to branch out into the Octagon.
Fury, who will take on Deontay Wilder in a heavyweight boxing rematch in February, says he is a big fan of MMA.
He wants to speak to UFC chief Dana White about a clash with Miocic or Francis Ngannou after holding UFC talks with McGregor.
On a move into UFC, the 31-year-old told IFL TV: "Very serious. I spoke to Conor and we’re ready to rock and roll.
"I also had a message from Frank Mir, former heavyweight champion of UFC, and he said he’d be interested in working with me as well.
"So, yeah, I reckon we can do something. Big time. Dana, call me!"
His possible switch from boxing to UFC follows McGregor's move the other way with his mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
Fury said: "McGregor is making his comeback. I’m looking at stepping into the MMA world.
"It’s a talking process at the minute.
"I’m dipping my toes in all waters right now, like WWE. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I’ve got WWE now, my book, autobiography, ITV documentary, song with Robbie Williams, big Deontay Wilder rematch and then you know… Fingers in all pies.
"I’m trying to get that big fight going on with whoever. Listen, I’m not afraid of any of them. Who’s the heavyweight champion of the world in UFC? Stipe Miocic is it?
"He just beat Daniel Cormier in the rematch, good body shots, bam, bam, got him out of there. I’d fight him in a heartbeat, no problem.
"Or Francis Ngannou. Any of the heavyweight champions they’ve got. I ain’t afraid of any of them. I’m the Gypsy King. Listen, I’m a boxer, but I am one bad ass mofo."
Fury defeated man mountain Stropwman with a third-round KO in Riyadh.
He is being paid £12m for a series of WWE fights.
