Tyson Fury to begin MMA training with Darren Till as boxer looks to kickstart UFC career

TYSON FURY is preparing for a step into the octagon with UFC fighter Darren Till agreeing to train the boxer in the ways of MMA.

While the heavyweight is not planning on leaving boxing anytime soon, he is plotting another career change having enjoyed a sojourn into WWE.

The Gypsy King confirmed on social media: "Good news everybody, I’m going to go training with Darren Till this weekend.

"We’re going to smash it, he’s going to get me started on my MMA career. Get up there my boy!"

Liverpudlian middleweight Till defeated Kevin Gastelum in UFC 244 last week following back-to-back defeats in the welterweight division.

Speculation over who Fury could fight sparked quickly but it appears the Brit, 31, is destined to meet Francis Ngannou.

Recently persuading Mike Tyson to train him for an eventual match-up with Fury, the Cameroon born Predator has already traded blows with his future opponent on social media.

Ngannou tweeted: "Spoke with Mike Tyson and he agreed to train me for when I fight Fury in the ring. Don’t be scared Fury. You called me out and now you'll have to live with it."

In reply, the Gyspy King fired off: "I'll deal with you and all the other MMA heavyweights when I’m done with my boxing fights. It won’t be long to wait! Then I’ll show you how we roll."

Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier have also be named as potential contests with Fury confident he can cross over from boxing to great success.

He told iFL TV: "Listen I’m not afraid of any of them, who’s the heavyweight champion in the UFC, Stipe Miocic, he just beat Daniel Cormier didn’t he, I’ll fight him in a heartbeat, no problem.

"Or Francis Ngannou or any of the heavyweight champions, any of the heavyweights they’ve got, I ain’t afraid of any of them, I’m the Gypsy King, Mac Daddy."

However, UFC chief Dana White believes Fury would get “smashed” if he decided to switch from boxing to MMA.

American promoter White told TMZ Sports: "Anything's possible. If Tyson Fury wants to fight in MMA, I've got a ton of guys that would love to fight him.
