UFC 205: Conor McGregor threatens to quit UFC after making history by knocking out Eddie Alvarez

Two-weight world champion demands share in £3billion business and says he doesn't want to bring up child while in the fight circus

DAD-TO-BE Conor McGregor has threatened to quit UFC for good just hours after making history as the company's first simultaneous two-weight champion.

The Irishman revealed after beating Eddie Alvarez to claim the lightweight belt that he will next year welcome a baby with girlfriend Dee Devlin.

He does not want to bring up a child while still fighting - and has demanded a share in the £3billion business.

Irishman McGregor, 28, is UFC's biggest star and wants a big financial slice of its expanding empire.

His stock will rise further after his devastating left-right combo in round two sent Alvarez crashing to the canvas.

But even if he does not get it, McGregor hinted he could quit anyway once he becomes a dad for the first time.

He said: "I'm going to be a daddy next year. I'm crapping my jocks, I'm not even going to lie.

"I don't even know what way to take it, it's going to mess with my head. I don't want to be bringing a child into anything like this.

"I don't want no celebrity-type s****, I hate all that. I don't want my family to be like that. So that's kind of a little thing in the back of my head.

"I'm going to have this baby, take a little bit of time off and see what way I feel after that."

McGregor's rapid rise to fame has in part helped the company run by Dana White grow into a multi-billion pound empire.

And now the Dublin-born millionaire has made it clear he deserves a reward for driving its expansion - otherwise he will leave.

"You want me to stick around, let's talk.

"I want the ownership, I want what I deserve, I want what I've earned."
