Conor McGregor has last-minute eye test and ramps up training with just eleven days to go until Floyd Mayweather showdown

Irish UFC ace posts Terminator-like image among photos that show he is leaving no angle uncovered in preparations for battle with American boxing legend

CONOR McGREGOR hopes he won't be seeing two of Floyd Mayweather when they go toe to toe in Las Vegas in 11 days' time.

The Irish UFC legend has undergone high-tech eye testing as his camp seeks to cover every angle ahead of his mega-fight with the American boxing great.

The photo McGregor posted of himself on Instagram looked like a scene from one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator movies.

He captioned it "Goodnight earthlings" and fans responded by calling him the "Irish cyborg" and using the famous Arnie catchphrase "I'll be back".

McGregor has been the target of derision in the past for his sometimes unorthodox training techniques.

The 28-year-old is put through his paces by long-time coach John Kavanagh and movement expert Ido Portal.

Mayweather, considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, is know for more traditional training techniques.

However, the undefeated 40-year-old has been doing bikram yoga - which takes place in intense heat - in preparation for the August 26 showdown with McGregor.

Kavanagh likes to predict the outcome of charge's fights - and has had considerable success - and he believes McGregor will beat Mayweather in four rounds.

UFC president Dana White is another who believes McGregor can upset the odds against five weight division champion Mayweather.

“Everything he's told me he's going to do, he's done, so if he says he'll beat Floyd Mayweather inside four rounds, he will,” said White.

McGregor's preparations - which have included gruelling desert bike rides - have been overshadowed by a row with sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi.

The retired boxer stormed out of the Irishman’s camp for his bout with Floyd Mayweather after a picture showed him on the floor.

He has since challenged Irishman McGregor to fight on St Patrick's Day.

Meanwhile, White released footage that he said showed Malignaggi suffered a “one-way beating” at the hands of McGregor.
