Conor McGregor reignites bitter Paulie Malignaggi feud by releasing new pictures from hotly-disputed 2017 sparring session
It comes after Malignaggi slapped the Irishman's friend and training partner Artem Lobov in New York
CONOR McGREGOR has reignited his bitter feud with Paulie Malignaggi by releasing fresh sparring images from their 2017 training camp.
The pair have been sworn enemies since the summer of that year when Malignaggi became The Notorious' sparring partner ahead of his 10th round loss to Floyd Mayweather.
After pictures and images of the spar were released - including a disputed knockdown of Malignaggi - the furious former world champion boxer walked out of the Irishman’s camp.
The last two years have seen the rivals go at each other online, but the feud has now been ramped up after Malignaggi slapped McGregor’s close friend and training partner Artem Lobov in New York yesterday.
Recently signed Bare Knuckle Boxing FC fighters Lobov, 32, and Malignaggi, 38, were at a media-event when the New York boxer slapped the Russian after words were exchanged.
The pair are slated to fight in June, after ex-UFC fighter Lobov completes his bare knuckle debut against Jason Knight on Saturday.
McGregor, 30, then reacted to his friend getting a “b**** slap” - as Malignaggi called it himself - by posting images of that infamous spar.
Malignaggi replied to one of the pictures by tweeting: “You gotta post the whole spar for it to count.
“We all know only p****** post clips n snippets AND we already know overall you STAY gettin your a** whipped when full vids are public - I'm gonna put your boy in a coma n there aint s*** your gonna do about it p****.”
McGregor and Maliganggi are yet to come face-to-face since they clashed at a press-conference before the 2017 money-grab bout with Mayweather.

Malignaggi’s slap comes almost a year to the day since McGregor flew to New York and attacked a bus full of UFC fighters as he attempted to get to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The Notorious jumped on a plane and went after the Russian after he goaded Lobov.
After being arrested for the attack McGregor would go on to be defeated by Nurmagoemdov at UFC 229 six months later.
