Fancy some F1ve-a-side to fill the summer? Axed England stars Michael Carrick and Theo Walcott join Justin Bieber, Claudio Ranieri and Louis Tomlinson at Monaco Grand Prix
British Formula One star Lewis Hamilton celebrates Monte Carlo victory with axed England players and pop stars from across the globe, including Louis Tomlinson
THEO WALCOTT and Michael Carrick‘s chances of playing for England this summer may have hit the skids — but the pair looked at ease as they mingled with celebs at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Arsenal flier Walcott, 27, missed out on Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions squad for the Euros along with experienced United midfielder Carrick.
Torrential rain gave the drivers something to think about but didn’t dampen the spirits of the crowd who turned out in huge numbers.
Walcott’s future at Arsenal appears uncertain and there are reports that West Ham will swoop for the winger during the close season.
And with Jose Mourinho taking over at Old Trafford, Carrick looks set to secure another year with United.
But they both appeared in France after all — in the lavish surroundings of Monte Carlo’s famous street circuit.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri was also in attendance, as well as pop stars Justin Beiber and Doncaster fan Louis Tomlinson.
Bieber downed champagne as Brit Lewis Hamitlon romped to victory in a pulsating race, beating Daniel Ricciardo into second.
